MLK NATIONAL SERVICE DAY 2012

FOOT SOLDIERS are volunteers that carries out important work for an organization or cause through opportunities to serve. Volunteer opportunities include car repair, home repair, housekeeping, home or office organizing, landscaping, mowing lawns, planting gardens, feeding the hungry, mentoring, coaching, tutoring, sitting with the elderly, visiting the sick, babysitting a child, business mentors for entrepreneurs, marketing, legal advocacy, and administration support. We have participated in several national service holidays to include school clean up, park clean up, planting flowers at nursing home, planting community gardens, landscaping at fire stations, washing fire trucks and police cars, cemetery clean up, trash pick up, recycling, and serve as volunteers and mentors for summer camps. Received awards for the President Volunteer Award, Outstanding Community Service Organization, and Outstanding Youth Service Organization. Join us for our upcoming service days and check out our calendar of events for any upcoming events or community service projects.
