Life of Purpose, L3C is under the umbrella of POP CDC and has partnered with several organizations to implement various youth and community programs supported and grants funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Bloomberg Foundation, Target Foundation, SOAR Foundation, Boo Grisby Foundation, Wilson Foundation, Mississippi Appalachian Regional Commission, a division of the Governor’s Office, AmeriCorps VISTA, Mississippi Commission for Volunteer Service, Mississippi Department of Transportation, City of Starkville Mayor and Board of Alderman, City of Vicksburg, City of Grenada, and Volunteer Louisiana.

Program development

The LOP has served as the Project Management Team for the Mayor’s Youth Council, Youth Taking Authority, YES Program, and Third Grade Reads Initiative. The organization has experience in grant and fiscal administration, program development, and operating successful projects in Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana. We have been awarded $775,000 in grant funds to administer these successful programs.
